Pipshy Farm is a 22ha property located in Cremorne, Tasmania. The property consist of pasture, revegetated land (about 2500 trees have been planted) and a part of Rushy Lagoon, a deflation basin which is about 150ha.
Pipshy Farm is a hobby farm, currently with 12 chooks, 4 ducks and 5 dexter cows. Chook and duck eggs are sold to the local community when there is excess production. The cows are generally only there to keep the grass down to a manageble level.
At the farm we also offer farm stays in our 40m2 strawbale cabin. The cabin consists of a 16m2 bedroom with a very comfortable king size bed. A 8m2 bathroom with a large shower, washbasin, washing machine and a separate toilet. Finally there is a 16m2 kitchen/living area including a gas stove, large fridge and all the cooking equipment you will need.
Internet facilities are available should you need to get connected whilst you stay with us. There is no TV but programs can be streamed from e.g. iview or SBS using your laptop or tablet. There are active speakers installed in the living room so you can connect your phone, ipod or similar to listen to music.
