So now we are more or less up to date again.

If you are coming straight to this page, please go to the Diary Index to see that we have now done a number of diary entries in order to7 bring the site up to date again - well that is the diary part of the site anyway. Entry 107 to 113 shows most of the things that have happened since February. Apologies again for lack of updates, but we just didn't have the energy to sit down in front of the computer at night time.

In order to finalise this monster update, below are a number of pictures taken in the house today, so that you can see how we are living at the moment. In terms of finalising the house indoors, we still have to install most of the internal doors (we only have two up so far), then we have to do the architraves and the skirting boards, some tiling to do the finishing touches around the doorways (that is in the bathrooms) and we also have to build a proper shelf unit in the movie/music room. What is there now is pretty temporary. But here are the pictures:

Most of these pictures are self explanatory so we did not add any text to them. The one thing that should be mentioned is that the big bookshelf in the office picture was built by Geir and his dad during Easter. It is made out of structural pine and then given given 3 coats of water based varnish, the first with a tint in order not to have the pine look.

No pictures of it yet, but it should also be mentioned that we have planted around 350 trees as well, about 200 of these in a grove in the middle of the paddock and the other have replaced some that unfortunately died from last years plantings.
