Welcome to Jodie and Geir's Tasmanian home

Pipshy Farm is a small property located close to the coast, around 20 km south east of Hobart, Tasmania. It used to be part of a larger farm that was subdivided some years ago and is situated between Pipe Clay Lagoon (saltwater) and Rushy Lagoon (freshwater, if not dry). The name is derived from the first 3 letters of Pipe Clay and the last 3 letters of Rushy.

Our immediate aim with these pages is to give our families and friends a place on the net to visit to see what we are up to and how far we have managed to get in respect of our property development. In the construction diary you will see how we are going along with the house building. There will also be more general information as we go along about strawbale house building and the concept of Permaculture. The development of this virtual home will probably take some time, so some pages may not have the most of information at this stage.

Happy browsing from Jodie and Geir
